A pipeline pump is a type of single-suction, single-stage or multi-stage centrifugal pump featuring a vertical structure. It is named "pipeline pump" (also known as a booster pump) because its inlet and outlet lie on the same straight line and share the same diameter-resembling a section of pipe-allowing it to be installed at any point along a pipeline. Structurally, it is a vertical, single-suction, single-stage centrifugal pump with an inlet and outlet that are identical, aligned on the same axis, and positioned perpendicular to the pump shaft's centerline.

This booster pump is specifically designed for biogas applications. It addresses issues of insufficient biogas pressure, promoting more complete combustion and a stronger flame. By utilizing a negative-pressure effect, the pump enhances gas generation within the digester; it is widely used with various types of biogas digesters and for the long-distance transport of biogas.
